Kumaia is a genus of trilobite-like arthropod (Subclass Conciliterga) classified within the Subphylum Trilobitomorpha.  It is similar to its relatives, Saperion and Skioldia, but has a less elongate outline.  It’s known only from the Chengjiang Fauna and one of those creatures that left no descendants.
