Temnocheilus is a genus of nautiloid with a long chronologic range spanning the Carboniferous to Triassic and a wide paleogeographic range extending from the American Southwest to Europe, the Middle East, and on to China.

This is a nice little loosely-coiled nautiloid that sits up – would look good in a mini fossil display.
