18mm (to tips of antennae) iconic Burgess Shale specimen on 52mm slab. Shows both the classic black body stain and the unusual club-like forelegs. No restoration, no repair. very sharp specimen.
Perhaps the most famous of all animals from the Burgess Shale, Marrella is an extinct genus of arthropod apparently found only in the Burgess Shale although related forms (marrellamorphs) are known from elsewhere in place and in time.
