Very large 43mm naraoid on 62mm slab.
Arthropod, Nektaspida. Soft-bodied. Lagerstatten.
Misszhouia is an early, eyeless arthropod of the Family Naraoidae. So far, it’s known only from a couple of Early Cambrian sites in China.
This one was collected just in time – perhaps days before it eroded away from recognition. You can still see the outline of this animal from soon after the Cambrian Explosion.
