Description
Maniraptoran Theropod Leg – Alvarezsauridae?
Cretaceous
Bissekty Formation
Uchkuduk, Uzbekistan
Beautiful, colorful 309mm (12 inch) theropod foot.
As far as we can tell it’s all original except for one claw with minor repair to cracks and breaks. Proximal 1cm of the metatarsals are restored. We suspect this might be an alvarezsaurid, a strange carnivorous dinosaur with paired “digging” claws. See:Wikipedia – Alvarezsauridae
Custom glass dome and stand for display are included.
