Excellent 0.6 inch fossil Goblin Shark tooth.

Anomotodon is an extinct genus of goblin shark which has been reported from numerous Late Cretaceous localities worldwide.  It survived the K/T extinction event but became rare by the Oligocene, perhaps surviving into the Miocene.

Just one genus of goblin shark, Mitsukurina, still lives today.
