Claviaster is a genus of sea urchin (echinoderm) that lived during the Late Cretaceous (Cenomanian-Turonian). So far, it is known only from sites in north Africa (Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt).
This one is not distorted. That’s the normal shape. At the Natural Canvas we always say, “If it’s weird, buy it.”
