Late Jurassic
Todlito Formation

105mm fish on 190mm slab. Rare.
Hulettia is an extinct genus of bony fish known from a couple of Late Jurassic formations in the Rocky Mountain region. Its closest living relatives may be sturgeons and paddlefishes.
We used to see these available in the 80’s and hadn’t seen one in years so we made an effort to make the deal when had the opportunity. This is an above-average specimen with nice detail – body scales very distinct.
