Late Jurassic
Todlito Formation
Guadalupe County, New Mexico, USA
75mm fish on 180mm slab. Rare.
Hulettia is an extinct genus of bony fish known from a couple of Late Jurassic formations in the Rocky Mountain region. Its closest living relatives may be sturgeons and paddlefishes.
We used to see these available in the 80’s and we managed to get this one from an old collection. We see so few Jurassic fishes from North America, we made an effort to make the deal.
