4mm angiosperm flower in 19mm Burmite. Beautiful specimen.
Most fossil flowers on the market are Eocene-Miocene age. Here is something special: a much older and still well-preserved flower in Cretaceous amber. It seems caught in a storm with other plant debris flying all around it and yet it’s forever frozen in time. It’s like a hologram from the time of the dinosaurs.
