Excellent 33mm pterosaur tooth in 44mm matrix. Very rare this complete.
Ornithocheirus is a genus of Early to Middle Cretaceous pterosaur known from England and perhaps Brazil. The name is based on fragmentary bits of jaw which indicate a rather large animal with a wingspan of perhaps 15-20 feet (approx. 4.5-6 meters).
