Pterosaur. Rare.
Pteranodon is the most widely-recognized of the pterosaurs but its fragile remains are actually very rare finds in the Niobrara Chalk. In life its bones were thin or thin and hollow which makes them poor candidates for fossilization. That has left many collectors happy to obtain just an identifiable bone end. Occasionally, something more substantial like this assortment becomes available.
