Olenoides is a well-known trilobite genus of the Middle Cambrian. Because of the remarkable preservation of the soft anatomy of organisms in the Burgess Shale, paleontologists know a lot about it. Olenoides specimens have also been collected in Utah, Pennsylvania, and Russia.
