Description
Middle Ordovician
England
Fine 1.2 inch near-complete trilobite. Most complete one we have ever seen. Extremely rare species
Trilobite. Arthropod.
Paracybeloides is a genus of trilobite known from the Ordovician of Europe. Some scientists consider the species P. girvanensis to belong to the genus, Cybeloides. It appears the matrix in which these rare trilobites are found at the English locality is quite broken up, or perhaps difficult to extract in large pieces, so it’s difficult to find complete specimens.
