Two trilobites, 48mm and 35mm on a 102mm x 203mm thick, solid limestone plate.

Pseudogigyties latimarginatus is a classic Canadian Ordovician species.  The two specimens are well preserved with some of their white calcite skin still attached, displayed nicely on a thick black limestone plate as well.

Canadian trilobites have been tough to get over the last few years with plates of this quality increasingly difficult to obtain.  This one came out of an old collection.

If you’re not a trilobite collector, that name is a Wheel of Fortune nightmare.
